World Junior Ice Hockey Championships

The 48th edition of the top division of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship took place in 2024 at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships (WJHC). From December 26, 2023, to January 5, 2024, it took place. This was the first time the WJHC was held in Gothenburg and the seventh time it was held in Sweden. Canada was the two-time defending champion going into the competition. In the gold medal match, the United States defeated host Sweden 6–2 to win their sixth championship.
